Well, today is my first post on the new site. We decided to use blogspot because it is free and it is always nice to save when you have to buy two of everything! What ever happened to the saying 'two for the price of one'? It sure doesn't happen with twins!
Back to the boys. Preston and Parker will be 19 months old on Friday. Where has the time gone? They are running, jumping, climbing, and staying very busy. They are starting to say words like go (every morning Preston runs to the car saying ‘Go, go, go’ very loudly), mommy, daddy, thank you, touchdown (along with the proper hand motions), stinky, ball, car, round & round (from The Wheels on the Bus with hand motions), and Oliver (the dog). There are more but I can’t think of them right now.
They each have four front teeth on the top and bottom and they each have two back molars in and are working on two more. They are eating more and more. They LOVE raisins! We went to dinner last night and the restaurant did not have any crackers for them to snack on before the food arrived, so the boys were eating limes. The expressions on their faces were priceless. Parker really like his while Preston kept making the most sour face and shivering after he would eat his.
Every time we think we have the house baby-proofed the boys find something new. We have taken every knick knack off the sofa table. The boys start by thowing all the throw pillows on the floor. Then they climb on to the couch and then up the back of the couch and stand on the sofa table. Then they slide down the slick leather couch and land on the pillows on the floor. Fun, right?? For them maybe! I am always scared they will break themselves but you try telling two little boys they can’t do that anymore!
The boys have grown so much that we are having to rethink sleeping arrangements. Currently they are still sharing a crib, but the time has come to move to another bed. We are still debating over two toddler beds or bunk beds. I am leaning towards bunk beds. We would get the kind that has a double bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. They could still sleep together as long as they want and their would be room for company when the time comes for sleepovers! Well, I don’t have any recent pictures on this computer so here are some from June. I will work on some more recent pictures this week! Please stay on me because I tend to post more when I am pressured!!!
